Saimaan Kanava. This is the name people from Finland give the Saimaa Canal. It's a beautiful region, but not that well-known. Its location near the Russian border adds to the slightly eerie atmosphere.
Saimaan Kanava. A series of instrumental music recorded on keyboard in my appartment. Cover art made in Dall E 3 and also a few photographs. Making use of slowing down and speeding up recordings. Not tied to one genre. Open for cooperation on audiovisual projects.
Presenting to the general public a kind of music that evokes shamanistic visions of animal spirits that are deeply enclosed in the musical imagination we all have, in the part of our brain that's reptile-like. We're using technology, but we use it like we would do if we were still living in caves.

One of the (unachievable) goals for the project is to make every animal into music. When we leave this planet on a giant spaceship, no living animals will be allowed on board, only DNA samples. It seemed like a good idea to give future generations a musical and visual impression of those DNA samples.
For the fourth album Outer Space we left that path to create some impressions of science fiction and space tropes. Most of these songs were written in the summer of 2024. The album was delayed from May to June due to technical difficulties but good Space Projects cannot go into launch mode before everything is completely safe.
October Update: I made a fifth album of five Giant Eyes, who find their origin in doing a top down creation in the five colors of Magic. So there's black, white, red, blue and green. I tried to recreate that in the musical genres and ended up with five special songs. And I hope you will enjoy those.
On Soundcloud, I have finished Occult Transgressions at the moment, which I had planned for a long time. The sinister theme is coming from a Victorian Horror Mystery boardgame concept, set in a world where cultists worship the Spider Godess by the name of Web.
The titles also form a lovely poem, more info on my Soundcloud page!
See you in January 2026!
